To The One

I need you to know that you are not my favorite but the only one.
I can’t tell you how to life your life but, I will tell you how I live mine.
I understand that labels are used to recognize, to help us remember some things.
I don’t need to put a label to my feelings for you because I know what they are and I remember them every time I breathe.
My love doesn’t know anything about mathematical fractions; therefore it can’t be divided, and it cannot be given to some one other than the one, you.
I will give you the truth regardless of what you want to believe.
My gift to you is a cup full of love and it depends on both of us to keep it that way.
I will believe every word you say just because you say so, so please be careful when choosing them.
I will try everyday to make you smile and to feel the way you make me feel and more, because you make me feel the luckiest woman on earth. 
My pledge to you is to love you as long as you love me. My promise is to give you the best of me. I will respect you, and what we are, and I will expect the same from you. I will make sure not to do anything that could hurt you in any way, and I will expect the same from you. There is only one favor I am going to ask you, don’t lie to me. Be assured that if I can’t handle the truth I will not question you. Should you think that the answer is not worth what we are sharing, keep it to yourself, but do it keeping in mind that I would respect you and your feelings. Whatever happens, if ever happens, should not happen again. I don’t believe in the Talion law, on the contrary, I believe that I should stand and fight for what makes me a better person, and even the word “revenge” leaves a weird taste in my palate; but I will tell you something, I will not set for less than what I am giving you, but I will understand your language. I would not expect you to love me the way I love you, but the way you love. 
I will commit to you, to us. I will not force you to love me, but I will love you the only way I know, with all that I have, with all that I know, with all that I am, and by that time, all that I have, all that I know, and all that I am will be all yours.
